A Rainy Weekend

What a rainy weekend it has been here in North Texas! I had to work most of the day on Saturday so GD stayed with the kids. They mostly stayed around the house due to the weather. On Friday, Kason received a treasure from the treasure chest at school. I believe the kids receive this on Friday if they have been well behaved for the week. Well, Kason chose a pair of plastic glasses with eyebrows and nose. He loves them and he looks so funny in them! He wants to wear them all the time. I had to convince him not to wear them to church! Not to be outdone, Katie had to get a picture in them too:

We sloshed our way to church this morning in the rain. Katie wore her rain boots and rain jacket to church. She had fun splashing in the puddles on the way to and from the car in the parking lot! Here she is before we left this morning:

She looks so sweet and cute in this pic, who would have guessed that 8 hours later she would wake up from her nap covered in poop! I'm just sayin..... Poor Katie is not feeling well this evening. We are hoping she will wake up in the morning feeling much better.

I had a great time with my BFF Laurie on Saturday night. :) Its not often that we get to visit just the 2 of us. Love you LAU!
