Tea Parties and Mavericks

Friday night was a great night for all of us! Katie and I stayed home and my mom (Nona), came over to visit. Katie was so sleepy when I picked her up from Ms. Tracy's. So she napped for a little bit while Mom and I were able to have a nice visit. (And drink some much-needed wine! :) After about 45 minutes, Katie woke up and perked up! She had some dinner then proceeded to entertain us. She of course asked Nona if she would like to have a tea party. They sat down on the floor and Katie began to dictate how everything should be done. Katie and Nona shared lots of laughs when Nona tried to cut a plastic apple and it kept slipping out from her plastic knife. Katie thought it was hilarious! Her laughter was contagious! It was a great visit that all 3 of us really enjoyed! Here are a couple of pictures from our fun night.

While us girls were enjoying our Tea Party, the boys were out having the time of their lives at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Each year, the Mavs have a free "Fan Jam" where the players can meet fans and then have an open scrimmage. Gary Don was able to get VIP passes to meet the players and get autographs. GD said Kason was in heaven! He was able to meet Dirk (his favorite player) and also Jet Terry, Josh Howard, Eric Dampier and others. He has an autographed poster to show for it. The guys had a great night! I'm not sure who enjoyed it the most, Kason or Gary Don! :) It was a great Boys Night!
