Easter

The week before Easter, we had an egg hunt at church. The kids had lots of fun hunting eggs. Kason was so fast, I could barely get a picture of him! I did get a few of Katie though. Here she is with her Target bag instead of an Easter basket. (I definately do NOT get the Mom-of-the-year award - totally wasn't prepared with an Easter basket for her!)

Yes, those are leg warmers that Katie Blair has on. I found them at a boutique in Frisco and had to get them. They are much cuter than the knitted navy blue leg warmers with multi-colored hearts all over them that I had way back in the 80's! :) I wonder, though, if she will look back at this picture 15 years from now and ask me what in the heck I dressed her in! :)

Counting his spoils!

On Easter Sunday after church, we had friends and family over for lunch. Everyone brought food, so I barely had to do anything. :) Lunch was awesome! Then the kids had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard. There were SO many eggs! Enough for 12 kids! It was so good to see everyone and celebrate the special day. I wish I had gotten a picture of Jamie and I - we wore the same shirt! Only in different colors. Too funny! And Jamie looked cute as she could be with her prego belly!

And I love this picture of KB! Don't ask me why she had to wear her pink boots with that dress. :) Oh, and I don't know where that black bow in her hair came from either. She definately has her own sense of fashion. :)
