The Friday after Thanksgiving Mom, Katie and I went to see Disney Princesses on Ice in Allen. Mom bought tickets for us to go. We knew Katie would love it!! We kept it a surprise from Katie and didn't tell her about until the day of the event. Finally the day came and I told Katie we were going to have a girl's day and go somewhere very special. I told her we had to dress up like princesses, so she wore her new pink pettiskirt. Here is a pic of us before we left the house. She didn't know where we were going, but she was very excited!
We met Mom in Mckinney at Katie's favorite restaurant - ChickFilA. After we ate, Mom and I told Katie we were going to see Princesses on Ice. I don't think Katie really knew what that meant, but it involved princesses, so she was excited! We drove to the new event center in Allen. (So close and convenient!!) Here is a pic of Nana and Katie outside the event center.
Of course, when we walked in there were little girls all dressed up like princesses with their moms. There were also merchandise booths everywhere! Nana spoils Katie rotten, so she let Katie choose one toy. Katie chose an Ariel wand.
We found our seats and they were sooo close to the ice!!! And right in front!! We were all excited! Here are a couple of pics while we were waiting for the show.
