Katie's First Day of PreSchool

We debated about weather to send Katie to Preschool this year. Kason didn't start preschool until he was four. But we thought Katie would really love Preschool. Our church has a newly revamped preschool that everyone is really excited about. Katie's babysitter, Ms. Tracy said she would be glad to take Katie to preschool as her son is going there as well. And my mom said she would help us pay for the tuition. Everything was just too perfect to NOT enroll her! So we signed her up for preschool 3 days a week.

Before the first day arrived, we went to Target and found a Dora the Explorer backpack and lunch box! Katie was so excited! Finally, the first day arrived. I took off work so I could take her and pick her up. Before school, I took pictures. As you can see below, Katie was only too willing to pose for the camera. :)

On the way to school, Katie asked if there would be any boys in her class. I told her, yes, I think there will be boys. She said "I only want girls." LOL! When we arrived at class, she was acting a little shy around her teacher and the other kids. I did manage to snap some pics in the classroom, though.

After a few minutes, Katie warmed up and was ready for the day.

Her teacher is Ms. Wendy and Katie seems to really like her. And lo and behold, we find out that it is a class of ALL GIRLS!! There are no boys signed up for her age group on the 3 days she goes, so the girls rule the roost! Katie loves her school and is doing really well. It is hard to believe my baby is in preschool now! We are so thankful for Nana and Ms. Tracy who make this possible for Katie. God is good!
